Behind them all sits the same lab and the same free diagnosis, whichever postmark the parcel wears. That lab is up the M5: Bristol Data Recovery, the intake laboratory, run by the company behind this site, Easy Data Recovery Ltd.

Am I in your patch?
Yes — anywhere a tracked courier will collect. Devon, Somerset and Dorset bring us most of our work, but the post makes the whole of the UK reachable, and we cover the return postage no matter where you live.
Is it safe to post a failed drive?
Yes — so long as it's packed properly: original enclosure kept, padding all round, sent by a tracked, insured service. The shipping form walks you through it, and most of our family jobs arrive just this way, year after year.
Can you collect my device?
For most jobs a tracked parcel is quicker and safer than a courier van — or you can hand the device in at our Bristol intake lab on a weekday. For the awkward stuff — servers, larger NAS units, sensitive forensic work — phone us and we'll agree the right route together.
Outside Devon — would a closer lab be better?
Go with the firm that's honest and knows its trade. If that's us, distance costs nothing — diagnosis starts the morning the postman hands your parcel over.
